Celebrating Our Volunteers: Thank You for Making a Difference
ASLS hosted our annual Volunteer Appreciation Event, recognizing the incredible contributions of volunteers who support our mission throughout the year.
Last week, ASLS hosted our annual Volunteer Appreciation Event, bringing together the amazing individuals who donate their time, skills, and passion to support our programs and participants. It was a joyful evening of celebration, gratitude, and community connection.
The Power of Volunteers
Volunteers are the heart of ASLS. Throughout the year, dedicated individuals contribute thousands of hours supporting our programs, mentoring participants, assisting with events, and sharing their professional expertise. Their commitment makes a tangible difference in the lives of adults with intellectual and developmental disabilities.
This year, our volunteers:
- Provided over 3,000 hours of program support
- Mentored 40+ participants in job skills and career development
- Assisted with 15 community events and fundraisers
- Contributed professional services in areas like marketing, technology, and facilities maintenance

Tech Team - Group Volunteer Award: A team of software engineers who donated their expertise to upgrade our technology systems and provide digital literacy training to participants.
